- During a severe thunder storm last Saturday night about 10 o'clock D.D. Terpenny's barn, near the glass factory, was struck by lightning and burned, together with farm implements, wagons, carriages, tools, etc. A valuable 2-year old colt was struck by the lightning and killed, and another slightly injured.
